Aaron grew up in a small rural town in western Kansas, spending a large amount of time enjoying outdoor activities. Before his undergraduate studies he underwent formal training in French and Latin. He also gained an appreciation for philosophy, global cultures, and the arts having lived in Europe for several years in different locations including Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies, concentrating in Biology and Microbiology, with a minor in microbiology. After college, he lived with his wife in Denver, Colorado and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at a Level 1 Trauma Center. He enjoyed hiking the mountains and skiing as often as possible. For Aaron's postgraduate education, he attended Kansas State University and graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies shortly before passing his boards and becoming a licensed Physician Associate. During PA school, Aaron held the position of National Student Representative for the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants and is a co-author of their published Surgical Rotation Pocket Guide for PA students.
Getting to Know Aaron Pribil:
Since moving to Oregon, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and family, hiking in the forests, visiting the coast, and tending to his backyard garden and chickens. He has a passion for patient care and outcomes and is always willing to make sure that patients feel heard and are as comfortable as possible while they are under the care of McKenzie Heart Group.
