Dr. Lawton moved to Oregon from South Carolina to escape the heat, humidity, and bugs.   He has settled in with McKenzie Heart Group and is happy as a bug in a rug.  He completed medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine and residency at Medical Center of Central Georgia.   Cardiology fellowship was completed at University of Kentucky.   In his spare time, he and his wife Sarah enjoy the Oregon outdoors hiking and biking and spending time with their four daughters and two sons.
